Description:  This is the first level of instruction in ROTC.  Course work is designed to introduce citizenship and leadership as well as teach courses in map reading, first aid, military history, and leadership in the academic portion.  Outside activities include marching and physical training.  Uniforms and shoes are issued free of charge at all ROTC levels.

Title:  ROTC II                                                                            942000

Recommended Grade Level: 10-12                       Duration:  2 semesters

Prerequisite:  ROTC I

Fee: $20.00

Description:  This level of ROTC is based on knowledge gained in ROTC I with greater emphasis on leadership roles and oral communication skills.  Course work is similar but presented in greater depth than in ROTC I.

Title:  ROTC III                                                                          943000

Recommended Grade Level:  l0th, 12th                  Duration:  2 semesters

Prerequisite:  ROTC II

Fee: $20.00

Description:  Participation in ROTC III requires instructor approval.  This level of ROTC requires an in-depth understanding of the leadership roles in ROTC.  Cadets at this level assume staff positions and become assistant instructors.

Title:  ROTC IV                                                                          944000

Recommended Grade Level:  12th                          Duration:  2 semesters

Prerequisite:  ROTC III         

Fee: $20.00

Description:  This is the final ROTC Level.  Cadets at this level generally assume the highest leadership positions such as the Battalion Commander, Company, and Platoon Commanders.
